I think the $1 to classified ad thing is an excellent idea.

Raffle the buck of to all the sellers that month. It would lessen the "blow" of having to pay a buck.

Would be difficult to manage I would think.

This is the shit that pisses me off. I get to play around with a bunch of different hardware only because I buy/sell so much stuff here. I buy, I try, then sell/trade for other stuff here just to check it out.

I don't trust that it would go fro capital improvements.

The improvements are lump sum. The classifieds are incremental. Goob would be taking quite a risk there.

a little off topic but I've been wondering this since I've been scammed twice on here by two different people, how do they make money. I have gone through paypal each time, reported the claim, escalated it, and won the dispute. Paypal rep's told me that their accounts are frozen and that they can not get the money out or open a new account. Obviously they are getting the moeny though, according to the guy recently discovered, some of us, including me, paid his rent and his system. So how do they do it?

Faceless people have no integrity and add in the fact the age/maturity level of many on here and it's a crap shoot at best.

I've only been burned for $9 so far and the $$$ obviously means nothing to me, but the fact I went out of my way to send the guy a set of tweeters for free pisses me off. Only wanted what the UPS store charged me to package/ship them.

Not sure what the solution is, if there really is one. Some people just **** at life and this forum attracts plenty of them...

buy stuff on-line with the money or have it sent to thier bank account before they are caught. the money is gone, the buyer cannot get thier money back if its not there.

u can open as many Pp accounts as you want as long as u use a dif bank card and email

with pre-paid cards now-a-days its too easy. spend $20 and make $1K or more before you're caught, $20 well spent in thier eyes

U got lucky. Alot of the times Pay pal will do as little as possible to help people.
