I just bought a system not to long ago, I purchased a amp which is audio planet, specs:

Planet Audio 3000 watt 1 channel

ampMax power(1 ohm)- 3000wx1

Rms power (1 ohm) - 2100x1

Rms power (2 ohm)- 1500wx1

Rms power(4 ohms)-1000wx1

I also bought 2 subs:

Power acoustics 2 12" DVC 2ohm 2600 watts 1000RMS each

Question is am I underpowering it and if so should I buy the same audio planet amp for the other sub n have amp for each sub? If so the wiring diagram for subs to wire for 1ohm or right ohms for best setup. Also there in a sealed box in a trunk, is that an ideal box for a trunk or a ported? Right gauge waire for it?

Thanks

Since the subs are DVC 2 you can only run the 2 at 2 ohms so you'll only be putting 1500 watts to the pair. I've never heard of that brand, doesn't sound like anything amazing so don't expect the 1500 watts out of it.

I wouldn't buy another one, and if you want the most output out of them you'll want a custom ported box.

Sorry ment Planet Audio, so the lowest ohms I can go with them subs are 2ohms? What about wiring them seperatley to there own amps? I dont know if im correct bit the sub each puts out maxx 2600 watts but thats max so idealy how much do u think there putting out cause I want the most bass out of it so what can I do?

Are they power acoustic mofo's?

Never go by max rating, always go by RMS. RMS is the continous power it can handle. Also subs don't put out power, they take it.

And no the lowest you can wire those subs to is .5 ohms, but that amp won't handle that. Well it may, but your electrical won't support it.

Those subs are 1000 rms so you'd want an amp that does 2000 watts @ 2 ohms or .5 ohms

But you better have some electrical upgrades if you plan on running 2000+ watts

The amp is 1ohm stable, so if I rewire the subs to go 1ohm load how much watts will go to them, specs say 2100 but idealy how much?

You can't wire the subs to 1 ohm though. Thats why I said you need an amp that does 2000 @ either 2 ohms or .5 ohms

So get a amp that has RMS power of 2000watts @ 2 ohms? Can I go higher? What does it mean when the sub has RMS Power Handling1000*watts? For subs like this what is the best kind of amp to get, D class or 1 channe or 2 channel?

You can go higher, like he said, either 2000 watts at 2 ohms, or 0.5 ohms. RMS means root mean square, and is the amount of power your subs can handle continuously over a period of time without giving out, thermally or mechanically. For this setup I would get a class D monoblock amp.

Does ot matter if I go with a 1 channel amp or 2 channel amp?

Don't go two channel on that high of power super inefficient and power hungry, and anything that is two channel for less that 600 that puts out 2k is goin to be junk

A good class d amp is the way to go.

I'm not saying this is the way for you to go but I have a kicker kx2500.1 that will do 2500w at 2ohm. I'm asking 425shipped for it. It is used but it is in goo condition and has been thoroughly tested

Like OP stated, there are radios with higher power output. Most radios have around 18 watts RMS per channel. They mostly claim 50w per channel but...
