Is it better to have a cd deck than a stock radio/cd player?

I have an 03 Accord so I'd have to get a face kit to get a cd deck customized into my car.

stock HU usually dont have rca outs and low voltage out. A good aftermarket will make a huge differance compared to a stock HU.

i have a 3sixty signal processor added to my stock audio system in my TL. It sounds good but i think i could never come close to a nice 5 volt or higher preamp that u get from a aftermarket unit. Well like already said it has to be a good one not crazy expensive but something above 300.
