So get you thoughts together and talk to him, as an adult would.
No offense, but if you get all whiney, like it sounds like you are being to me, you won't get as good of a reaction as if you talk to him like a rational grown up.

me and my brother have both tried this. we have literally called family meetings to sit down and talk, yet when we are done he goes and talks to my mom as if we madehim out to be below us, or we dont realize how lucky we are to have certain thinks handed to us. we REALIZE THIS in every sense of the word. we dont ask for shit from either of our parents other than maybe 10 bucks every two weeks for gas. yah we get to go on roadtrips to florida every few months if we pay for everything except the car ride down, we wouldnt be alive right now if we didnt.

we told him that we cant take it when we ask a question or something and his response is a smart *** one or one that degrades us for asking such a question. its not going to him as an adult, but for him to realize were not complaining about what we have/are able to have, but that we want shit to be good as a family, not just materials.

teebone, to answer your question, plain and simple....its home. why the HELL would u wanna live in a place like michigan. florida is home and so is everyone there. i thought spanish people were terrible to live with, but holy shit hicks are 100x worse.

move to somehwere you can afford instead of orlando for now. then when you build up money move to orlando. you are only 18. your not gonna have it the way you want it fresh out of high school

Sounds to me you need to have a 1 on 1 with him about how you feel. Sometimes big family get togethers just dont do it. Be honest with him and tell him how you feel. Be like I dont like you telling me about my weight and this and that. Then tell him you want that old *** truck instead of a brand new car and you want to pay for it. Then be like I will save money on insurance, lol! Just be glad of the things you have and talk with him and try to make it better.

Most of us only have 1 set of parents. So try to make it worthwhile. Life is short and remember they wont always be there.
