is it bad that....

it is possible depending what screws u used.if in doubt.just recaulk all the edges in ur box and use slightly thicker screws to remount the sub.if u have a terminal plate, caulk that too.

 
Since I don't really understand...

lately his 12" RE Audio SX subwoofer has been sounding not as loud, so he checked to see if there is air escaping from the corners of the box thinking there is a leak. There is no leak. So he takes the sub out of the box, and as he's doing it, he notices that the very bottom screw is broken in half. He thinks the sub broke it. is that possible or is it not (because inquiring minds want to know)?
