Meh I play my system at whatever volume I want regardless of the time of day...except for the road I live on. Ive gotten a few complaints from people...one neighbor sleeps during the day due to working 3rd shift and another gets up early in the morning...so yea I just turn the bass completely off when I am on my road at any time of the day. I know this because they complained to the landlord about it when I first hooked my system up and was fixing the gains and things like that. Was an instant complaint...but yea otherwise I really dont care. So what if I had a cop tell me to turn it down once when demoing it to a few people in a parking lot...I have never heard of someone getting a fine or anything for having their system too loud. But then again...actual loud car audio isnt a common thing where I live. Most people have never heard of running batteries or a high output alternator simply for car audio.

I worked hard for what I got and installed it myself...im gonna enjoy it damnit. Do gotta say it is funny pulling up to a red light and seeing windows go up and parents giving me dirty looks cause of me listening to metal with kids in their back seats and **** like that. Also old timers giving me the stink eye is funny as well.

i do it when i moving, if i get up to a traffic light i turn it down, if someone is crossing the street, i turn it down, the ones who don't are the ones who give bassheads a bad name. of course right now my setup is so sad i don't bother...

I dont play it in residential areas

I turn it down at stop lights unless there are dbags in primered civics or people who think they have a system (aka last night 98ish impala with wiggers and distorted music)

I tune my stereo in my driveway or in some parking lot.

I keep it turned down when I am pulling into shady residential areas (shiz will get stolen and they know exactly where you parked)
