Yes, I did. But in retrospect, after considering the response I got, I do not believe that he actually read a single word of it so I suppose it was a complete waste of effort.

Oh well - at least my viewpoint makes sense whereas his is lacking in one critical component - logic.

Yes, I can guarantee you he read next to none of it.

He's done that to several others in the past also - usually swears at you and tells you to never write to him again or he'll call the cops, etc.

There was plenty of that included, too. He's more than welcome to call whatever municipality's law enforcement he chooses.

After he explains to them that "I put my personal email address on a publicly accessible editorial website and now people who disagree with me are sending me emails! That's gotta be a crime, right? Go and arrest them immediately!"

I'd actually like to know if they bother to let him hear the raucous laughter that most assuredly will ensue prior to hanging up in his face.

lol, I just wanna let yall know, that extremely loud noises actually do release certain chemicals in the brain that can be described in medical terms as a "high" or "alteration of ones mental status". It may not be like any other illegal substance some of you are experimenting with, but it does infact cause an alteration.

I came across a refrence on his site to people working on the flight decks getting closer to the jets on purpose so I did some research and actually talked with medical professionals over here on the base and they confirmed it.

Not aiding thier arguement, just giving a little factiod that some may of not known. And I didn't want yall argueing that he's an idiot for saying that because it actually is true.

They tested that on Mythbusters. They ran like 120db between 5 and 20 hz, and 150db between 20 and 100hz, and noone dirtied their diapers. =p

And yes, my Harley has straight pipes (Vance and Hines) but the are baffled and they are stock and yes I do say the fat redneck, hilljack retards with ground pounders so freaking loud that you can hear them from twenty miles should simply just be shot, no questions asked. Like it or not, everybody (as shown here) generalizes Harley's as being loud, you have stereotyped that just as people stereotype our audio gear.

If they only knew that it was the persons choice to install the pipes that are loud, just as it is a persons choice to install a system which can be heard outside the vehicle. Most every harley straight from the factory must maintain a sound level of 89dB or less at 3200RPM, or somewhere around there.

As far as pipes, I agree. But even with aftermarket pipes, at normal rpm (like you state) they are ok, it is when you grab a handful of throttle that it gets obnoxious (sp?).

Very much agreed, I was going to mention that but I didnt want the people full of make believe knowlege throwing a hissy fit. There is some a-hole here in the compound who likes to hit it every morning before he gets out of the gate, really gets annoying when im trying to sleep.
