Yeah, I remember when you first joined and were dead set on an isolator.

Now look. You recommended that Basandbeer float charge his batteries, and didn't suggest an isolator.......

why would he need an isolator? bassandbeer that is. clearly the superior option for him was float charging at night... which is what @Jeffdachef is gonna have to start doing lol

still, any different type of battery or large difference in size makes me want to say put an isolator in...

Different type of battery, yes. Don't mix AGM's with standard vented.

Size? No. Plenty of people have a small under-hood battery and group 31's in the back bank. If they're AGM's, they'll rest fine

been charging for 3+ hours. up to 44% yay!

they wont get that low if you charge it at night? probably better to get them to about 50-80 then charge

Its on the battery charger atm. Gonna get the whole bank to 100% and hopefully upgrade pos and dedicated ground runs to 3/0 or 4/0 20+feet with 1/0 ofc probably not gonna cut it.

get a dc clamp and find out where you're pulling all the current and upgrade from there...

thats a great point, but let me counter with my drunk idea... borrow a dc clamp for the low low price of ....0 dollars!! lol
