is 4ga enough?

im planning on running an alpine mrp-m1000 and 2 DC level 4s.. would 4ga be enough for this amp or should i look into 1/0 so i dont end up melting anything.

anyone have around 20ft of 1/0?

If its a good brand of 4 gauge, you might get away with it, but if you ever upgrade to more power you'll have to remove that wire and install 1/0.

4 gauge is than enough for that amp

Do 1/0 gauge if you KNOW youre gonna upgrade, not worth it to do $80 worth of 1/0 gauge when you dont need it, and a 4 gauge piece only cost $10
