Is 2 gauge wire enough

I have a 13.5" W7 and a 1200w kenwood amp. I am wondering if 2 gauge wire is the correct wire needed for the amp wiring or would 0 gauge be better? Thanks

2 gauge is fine for what you have. But if you havent already installed the wire, then you could spend the couple extra bux and throw down some 0 gauge. That way if you ever want to upgrade that amp later on, you will be good to go. Or at least thats what I would do.
