Is 146.3dbs a good score for 2 12's?

I just went to the sub shop and got metered and I hit a 146.3dbs on a 50hz test tone. With music I hit a 144.4dbs. Is this a decent score for 2 12's on 1500 watts?

I have 2 Kicker L5 12's on 1500w @ 2 ohms out of a Hifonics Brutus 2400. This is in a 99 blazer, at the dash.

What kind of meter? That matters most. A 146 could really be a 136

Whatever meter they had. Looked like a long skinny stick attached to a screen. I did it at Radios Knobs, Speakers and things and made #8 on their board

That's not really a legit meter....

On a termlab or similar, that would be pretty good

Not bad at all. Had a guy do a 144 on a 2 18 wall a few days ago. Lol

I have an SPL Labs Bluetooth meter and we tested it with the termlab USB and it was dead on.

Most likely that was an AC meter and your score is prly around 142-143db

I would assume they would have good equipment being the longest-open (since like 1972) and well known shop in the area. Might not be a termlab, but it's gotta be at least halfway decent, they used to host SPL comps there.

If it was a stick that's AC. Old school and not accurate. Could be anywhere from a 130-145
