Is 1/0 Gauge Enough?

Alright good to know thanks guys.

Anybody know of a guideline table that tells you how many amps certain sizes of wire can handle?

Because I need to find a distro block and was wondering if I got one with 1- 1/0gauge input with 4-8gauge outputs, then two of the outputs go to the Xtants, then connect the other two outputs into another distro block or something to go to the MTX.

That table would really help though. Thanks.

Alright I have found a pretty good table

http://www.powerstream.com/Wire_Size.htm

It is a pretty good guideline, very conservative though, and that is also mentioned in the text talking about it.

So I guess I just need a distro block that has a 1/0 gauge input, and 1-2gauge output and 2-4 gauge outputs, I know this is very overkill, but once I put something together I never want to look at it again.

Anyone know of a distro block like this or a place to look for one? Thanks again.

personally i have a dedicated 0/1 guage run with a 150 amp anl fuse on it for my 1501 D then i have a seperate 4 guage run for everything else, using the knukonceptz battery power terminal with the 0/1 and 4 guage outputs then the seperate attachment screw for everything else
