iPod confusion

I am getting an Ipod. I want to be able to play it in my car and have it sound good. I have heard that FM transmitters aren't that great as far as quality. I have heard about this pioneer thing http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/p...2089315,00.html and that it works really good. I am interested in getting it if it is all that its cracked up to be. Only problem is that I have this head unit http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/p...9_37859,00.html . Could I use the iPod connector thing with my head unit? Or will I have to get a new head unit?

Nevermind, I found what I could do. I have to use this guy http://www.crutchfield.com/S-5AAdLJa3IeJ/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=50900&I=130CDRB10 . Now, I need to know if this will still be compatible (or will there be room for it) since I had a sub put in? I did not put the sub in myself, someone else did it for me. So I don't know if the sub wiring to the hu is taking up the option of using this.

Yes that will work fine. The sub amplifier is not going to be hooked up to that port.

Thanks! I also read the head unit compatability list for the Pionner thing, and my head unit is not on it. Is this only because it doesn't have an aux already on it? Will my head unit work fine with it now that I have that adapter?
