Ordered the 8gb in black a couple of days ago. Was going to get the 16, but I already have a 30gb video iPod, so I doubt I would use the extra space.

Meh, I will stick to my blackberry pearl. Suites me just fine and I have enough on there to give me a headache. I rarely even use my phones, but I could have gotten an iPhone for under a 150 smacks being I am a business member through Sams club and then the 30 dollar activation fee, but better prices than paying retail.

I only paid 30 for my blackberry.

I loved my pearl when I first got it, but now I can't stand it. Its mainly that it just always chooses the wrong predictive text whenever I am texting.

Yeah, I have only had it.........maybe a month and a half now. I actually love how easy it is to text. Never had any problems with it as of yet and knock on wood, I don't.

I love the look of these new phones, such as the dare and iPhone look, but just don't need it. I really don't need half the shit on my blackberry, but figured what the hell, 30 bucks and my wife loves her's, so I guess it was worth it. I honestly don't get into phones that much.

I do wish our service through t-mobile was a little better. From time to time we get dropped calls, but we know the areas not to call at now, lol!

GPS is really fast if you are outside. It will locate you within 2 seconds for sure. If you are in a large building, sometimes it won't know your exact location, but can say you are in this area... it uses gps signals and cell phone signals to find you so it works pretty well. Only gripe is no turn by turn directions, but don't really need them imo.

ive not used it for directions yet, but it appears to be the same google maps type deal that i had on my BB, and that was always nice. i have played with it while driving, and it updates my location in real time, i should try the directions sometime.

You can use the G-Park application to kind of solve that problem. It won't work, though, if you're just wanting directions from point A to point B. It gives you turn by turn directions back to the spot where you've left a GPS flag.

I think there's an application in the works that will completely solve the problem for you, though.
