IPhone Killer?

Buddy turned me on to these. Cect P168. Can be had on Ebay, new, for $160. Apparently they are made in the same factory as IPhones. The only downside I can see is lack of good warranty, and Chinese manual. I think for $6 you can get a English manual. I also hear they come unlocked for GSM, which means you can pretty much pop in your sim card and go. Anyone had any experience with these?

wow... These have been out since the iPhone came out..

Pretty much just as good, a little thicker, but you don't need a data plan to use the phone. I THINK

im sure if apple had a case against it they would have tried already. but seeing as its just another touchscreen telephone using nothing mac related, i dont think they have a case...

I think the back of the clone says iPhone though. The back of an iPhone dosent look like that.

i know someone who has one, they feel kinda cheap and you can tell its a knockoff, but i believe they use linyx so third party apps are easier to get and you dont have to deal with apple for half the price, probably worth it...im actually looking for a new phone and thats in my price range. hmm..

true, but it must not be too popular. Apple must not see them as a threat, so they probably don't care. Now if they were any threat to them then they will sue. Remember you can sue anybody for anything now a days. Still looks like garbage compared to the real thing. U wouldnt choose Pyramid amps over a kicker right? I would just leave it along.

i had one of these, complete garbage. It was cool in the begining but the phone is only triband 900/1800/and i think 1900 mhz not the other cingular 850mhz so the phone was always in "emergency" and i coul;d not make any calls or receive them, hell even when i had signal i never recevied calls. The phone itself is ok but the colors ****.
