IPhone Killer?

i had one of these, complete garbage. It was cool in the begining but the phone is only triband 900/1800/and i think 1900 mhz not the other cingular 850mhz so the phone was always in "emergency" and i coul;d not make any calls or receive them, hell even when i had signal i never recevied calls. The phone itself is ok but the colors ****.

Was this the new version with the slidelock and Quad-Band GSM?

true, but it must not be too popular. Apple must not see them as a threat, so they probably don't care. Now if they were any threat to them then they will sue. Remember you can sue anybody for anything now a days. Still looks like garbage compared to the real thing. U wouldnt choose Pyramid amps over a kicker right? I would just leave it along.

i used to say the same. i chose my blackberry over the iphone because the blackberry was just as capable and was free. i am now kicking myself... the iphone is powerful. it is capable of quite a bit, alot of stuff that isnt published by ATT or apple... i am currently trying to trade quite a bit for an iphone, including my unlocked blackberry...

Hardly?? What does the Iphone have? An interface you get bored of in a month? All top smartphones have capabilities greater than the Iphone. Everyone keeps playing into their marketing schemes, it's stupid.

the iphone, on top of having the number one MP3 player interface, has the most current technology, more abilities than any other smart phone currently has, more third party applications than any other smart phone, more memory than any other current smart phone..

its not marketing schemes. if you will note, i have already said that i was against the iphone at first. i also thought that other smart phones would keep up with it. i was dead wrong.

apple has cornered the mp3 player market, and now they have the smart phone market running as well. about a year ago i wanted nothing to do with an iphone. now i want one pretty bad. i have seen what they are capable of, i have seen some of the programs you can add to them, and they are pretty powerful. if you can show me another smart phone that can do what an iphone can do i would be impressed.

but the iphone is more than just hype. the iphone is adaptable, user friendly, and has the capabilities to do just about anything. i own a blackberry, and it is pretty much useless compared to my friends iphone that i have played with.

Hey if the iPhone works for you that's fantastic. I was going to get one myself. But the 8525 is pretty **** flexible as well. I mean, using my phone as a wireless 3G router is just plain awesome. Not to mention the hundreds of windows mobiles tweaks and customizations that are available. And the Push to talk works great as well. Not to mention Stereo bluetooth with live streaming music from GSplayer.
