I'm not. Look how simple apples architecture is. It don't need the same hardware. Where as Android needs enough to run all those annoying useless widgets. How has Apple computers outperformed PCs that have twice the ram and CPU? I agree if you want to mod get a android. 99% of smart phone users don't want to mod.
Funny thing. The guy at work we where comparing the S4 and my 5S.
I asked what makes the S4 better.. You can mod it to do all this stuff..
I said cool what mods have you done? He said, oh none I dont need all that stuff.
That's pretty much what happened with every Droid owner I talked to. If not they said they are waiting to get the 6 because they liked the 4S better then the Android they have now.
I have mods on my phone. Packet sniffing tools (probably don't know what that is), battery mods, UI mods, custom ROM, etc. Your claim that 99% of smartphone users won't mod is a stupid number. You know **** well that more than that do so. Why do you think there was such a huge court case with pertaining to people Unlocking their phones? That is by definition, modding.
Again, whitedragon is very correct. 9 months later, the iPhone 6 barely edges out the CPU performance with about 80% of the GPU performance. Not to mention, many Androids are full HD (1920x1080) screens. No phone can compete with the LG G3's resolution.
You mentioned the all the widgets (which can easily be disabled), you can very easily remove/freeze all the bloatware, thus increasing battery life and overall performance.
I have also never seen a modern smartphone with a battery like the GS5. I use my phone heavily throughout the day and can go 2 days on a single charge and that's with a high quality sound mod (Viper4Android).

Great games and facetime
iPhones are far from sturdy without a case, but a case makes any phone sturdy.
95% of the iPhone games are also on Android so that argument is invalid. As for facetime, no Android does not have it, but there's this little thing called Skype which is just as good.
Your PS3 vs 360 comparison is stupid and wrong. The PS3 had superior graphic capability, its just that all the AAA producers couldn't code worth a **** on the PS3 architecture. Look at PS3 exclusives like God of War 3 and all the Uncharted games.
