So this blind study is wrong?You guys do realize that at a 12 inch viewing distance the maximum the human eye can discern is around 300 ppi, right? So, unless you are sitting around looking at your phone with a magnifying glass, any modern smartphone's display is good enough. The only thing you will see is the differences in the color and brightness settings.

Because according to this people were able to tell a significant difference in 150, 300, and 600 ppi when printed on printer paper and age was irrelevant. Also proves people can tell a difference in 344 and 700PPI at 10" away when on printed paper. Sure its larger than a smart phone, but not that much larger than the phablet market that the Note 4 and iPhone 6+ fit into.
