Iphone 6

Not me. I'm getting a Lumia 1020 at the end of this month because my iphone 4's contract is ending. 41 megapixel camera brah...

Iphone 6 doesn't seem to have anything that other phones don't so I don't see the reason to get one.

Apple is already behind in everything.. Nonetheless.. I'm waiting till there's a jailbreak for it then I might consider getting one.. Unless samsung comes out with yet another galaxy or note phone lol..

My friend has a jailbroken 5 and he said that everything "new" on the iphone 6 he can already do on his jailbroken iphone 5. Really I'm fine with my iphone 4's features. Internet, camera, texting, pandora. Only reason I'm getting the Lumia 1020 is because I want a phone with a really good camera for when I make flex videos. The mic on it is a beast too and can handle bass really well.

I'm not an Apple fanboy here, but this answer doesn't make a lot of sense. No amount of jailbreaking will get you a bigger display, a thinner phone, a better camera or a fingerprint sensor (all of which come with either model of iphone6). (Most) everything else iphone6 can do is related to the iOS8 update, which will available on the iphone 5 aswell (not sure about 4 though). My point being that most of what is "new" and unique to iphone6 has to do with the hardware design, not the OS and software. Personally, I do like the Apple appstore and itunes "ecosystem" and will eventually upgrade to iphone6 for the larger display alone (eyes are getting old and tired), but I am not going to rush to put in a pre-order or camp out at an Apple store to get one - I will wait until the apple-aniacs pay too much for their's and all the bugs get worked out first.

Jepalan is absolutely right.. Even though you can almost do everything that the new version can, there are hardware limitations to what the old versions can do. You might not need the new features like fingerprint sensor or bigger screen but to some it's very useful to have.

I have a jailbroken iphone 5 and have done everything possible with my phone.. When ios 7 came out, it's funny how a lot of the new features that came out was already possible with the jailbroken ios 6. For example, the new multitasking screen that you swipe to close the apps, or unlimited icons in a folder, call blocking, etc.. but they just made it alittle more cleaner looking. Many people have complained how they hate the ios 7 and wish they can downgrade back but they can't.

Some of the things I really love about jailbreaking is.. Movie box (you can stream/download any movie tv show old or new just like netflix but even better because it's updated daily), music box ( download any song or full album onto your phone) youtube protube extension ( removes ads and you can download the video straight to your phone ) Pandora downloader ( removes ads, unlimited skips, and download any song) Wifi hotspot (usually at&t and verizon charges you for this ) Free games or apps, arcade and retro games emulator( I can hook up my ps3 controller via bluetooth and play the oldschool mario games or marvel games), and the list goes on and on.. too much to even explain..

True yeah I completely understand all of the answers. I'm probably going to pre order the iphone 6 today, just because my upgrade has been up for awhile and my phone literally barely works but. I know im probably making a mistake by buying one before all the bugs are worked out. The thing is apple seems so behind on features and everything. Im not an android fan at all, but apple just seems a little behind. I'll always be an iphone guy though. Just the simplicity etc.

Ill go ahead and leave this here:

The GPU in the 6 is barely better than the 5S which is also laughable

iPhone 6 GPU slightly better than 5S in benchmark test - SlashGear

thats how it goes, all apple does is steal other people's ideas from cydia, then upgrade the processor, keeps the ram low (for jailbreakers, they never say how much ram it has) and add i little bit of different features, but it works people buy them each year, thats why apple does not like jailbreaks b/c they already have those features and no need to upgrade to the next one.

i gave up on my iphone back on the 4, now i have a Galaxy S4 rooted/bootloader unlocked and still just as fast since i 1st got it, b/c of some awesome people making some great roms for it

I have an iPhone 4, I like it but I'm eventually gonna switch to android and just get an iPod.
i just ended up getting an HTC One M8 as my mp3 player, it sounds amazing with the Harmon Kardon mod and Viper4Android sounds a whole lot better than my old iphone and CD's

It's not really fair that you compare iphone 4 to galaxy s4 because they came out different times. The s4 has a bunch of cool new features though and I really like that it's now waterproof. That's just amazing. Also I've been noticing they've been coming out with a lot of new emulators that are very stable and new support for the latest apps. The app called Retroarch has net play on android which allows you to play those old school roms with anyone in the world online. iPhones can't do that and will probably continue to fall behind no matter what. Yet it's still unanimous that the major of consumers buy iPhones. Weird how that works. Steve jobs created a cult lol.
