Apple officially fucked up this time. What does the iPhone 6 improve? iOS8... That'll have many bugs for many months. Bigger screen... woopy doo, Androids have had that for years. New and improved processor... ARM's new technology still falls behind Qualcomm's and 95% of the users out there won't notice/take advantage of a better processor. NO it is not a better camera. 8 MP is 8MP no matter the quality of the lens. Androids lens (LG G3) are still superior with more than double the resolution. NO there is not an improved battery. I can already go 2 days on my Galaxy S5 without charging and that is with me using it all day (games, texting, calling, etc.). And for the love of God Apple, put 2 ******* GB of ram in it already.

I do give them credit for producing a 128GB model, but at $400 (or was it $500?) for it? Are you ******* serious? Most new Androids have 16/32GB of internal storage and support 128GB Micro SD cards. These can be had for $100 or less and are completely portable and interchangeable.

I wouldn't call myself an Android fanboy. Yes, I have always hated Apple's computer sector because you overpay for the performance you get. (Not to mention I've seen more broken/FUBAR'd Macbooks this year in my ITS position than Windows machines.) But I have always thought their phones gave pretty good price/performance competition. Well, not this time. It is 95% the exact same phone as the iPhone 5.

EDIT: How can I forget about the Fringerprint scanner? Several Androids have them as well as the iPhone 5. The problem is that with current technology they don't work as well as they should on such small devices. Besides, its just one more way the NSA can track/log your ****. Unless of course you've nothing to hide then your good.

I agree with you. The only reason I stick to Iphone is because of the simplicity and and the fact i've been on them since the 3. The OS Is just so simple to me and I love how it operates. Although like you and others have said its so true at how behind Apple is. Android has released the same stuff Apple just came out with years ago.. That's what almost made me not get the Iphone 6.. Just because they're so behind and literally nothing 'new' has came out.. I did order it though and I'll have it Friday. I'm sure it'll be super buggy though lol.

Mac's I agree. I have a Macbook pro.. Only reason I have it because it was given to me.. Such over priced computers.. Mine has 4GB ram and like what a 500 gb hard drive? like $1200.. Cousin and I went shopping before he started college.. Got him a 1tb HD, 8GB ram touch screen... etc etc for like $598 is what the total came out to.. Literally half the price for a 2x better computer... I don't even use my Mac, I use the gaming computer I built with windows 7 on it.. Just because I don't like using Mac.

Reason apple is behind is because they dont allow others to modify there OS.

Google has used code of many other developers to improve there own making android the most up to date OS out.

i just ended up getting an HTC One M8 as my mp3 player, it sounds amazing with the Harmon Kardon mod and Viper4Android sounds a whole lot better than my old iphone and CD's

This I got the same phone since I was told it's good for music. Very good preout on it, just as loud as my friend iphone, or a bit moreso with less distortion overall, better source seems like. I turn the harmon Kardon "boomsound" off when listening in my car, but it def makes things sound better on the tiny phone speakers.. Love being able to watch neflix and not have to be super close to my phone to hear it. Newer android OS's are just as smooth as any Iphone I've worked with and they have a lot more customization.

They do have good hardware suppliers, but they make sure nearly nothing is upgradable on their computers, no aftermarket support other than their own stuff and charge a major pricetag for all of it.

For many years this strategy failed, but since apple has become "cool" their boutique pricing has been more acceptable and people feel like they are paying for "the best". It all started chancing around 2000ish, when the IMAC's became popular because of their cool looking screens and lack of a seperate computer with it all being in the screen. That and ipods really helped them.

Another thing with apple is their prices keep going up.. Look at the regular PC. Used to computers with high amounts of ram/graphics etc etc etc were expensive. Now they just keep going down in price.. To get a ****** gaming computer you can pay a grand.. to get the same thing from apple you're looking at 2-3 Grand.. Sad thing is Apple just keeps going up and up on pricing, where as other PC's just keep going down..

I preordered the regular one. It's like a 4.7.. Which is slightly bigger than the 5/5s.. 5.5 is way too big. I don't want to carry around a tablet in my pocket, that is ridiculous.

Iphones are TINY. I have a HTC M8, it' s a 5.1 inch screen, still fits in my pocket just fine. Much better for watching videos, much better for texting, just much better in general. If your an Iphone guy you've been stuck with the same 4inch screen size for a very long time now and may have convinced yourself it's better somehow.. Trust me you will NOT think that way when you finally get a modern sized smartphone screen and get used to it. A few of my friends even have a note 3, that is pushing too big, but I have tiny hands and I'd probably still like it for viewing and texting purposes.

I agree. 5S is perfect for me. Bigger screens are stupid. iPhone vs droid arguements will never end. But all my friends always have to replace their batteries or pull them to un freeze the phone. That's a shame.

boomsound is different than harmon kardon, the harmon kardon has clarifi which is great, yeah i have boomsound off too. is ur phone rooted/s-off/bootloader unlocked?

I wear blue jeans too much to ever consider a 5 inch or larger screen phone. I tried it. Me and my buddy swapped phones one day while we were hanging out together. He took my iPhone 5 and I carried his Galaxy s5. After 4 hours he was in love with my phone and I was ready to get my iphone back. This had nothing to do with the operating systems, it was just the size of the phones.

What makes the apple work is simple. It's not the screen size, ect.. It's how it works flawlessly. That's something you can't fix by adding a inch to the screen. iOS is just good. Look at MACs, they do more than PCs with less hardware.

Stick to car audio because this is a subject you dont know about.

Try running mac on a virgin intel system that has all completely native hardware.

you will notice it will not work as mac was forced to use "more" hardware to support its crappy vanilla kernel.

Not to forget mac is a modified unix "linux!!!!!!" System
