Inverted Subs

I was just watching some speaker prom and the sub was inverted.

Besides me, who else thinks inverted subs look stupid.

Im not saying its wrong, and if you like it, thats fine.

Different strokes for different folks.

Just kinda wondering who agreed.

Any sub can be inverted. There are no "specs" for inverting a sub - it doesn't change anything (unless you have one wired regular and one inverted, then you switch the polarity on the inverted one).

YUP.

you could mount it on the baffle, and then attach the baffle on. but then it'd be a b1tch to carpet, and nearly impossible to seal with silicone.

that would also look gay b/c you could see the MDF circle (hard to explain).

this man makes a strong argument, but ive been there and done that...you just have to mount the woofer, then build the box around it leaving the *** out
