haha i appreciate the kind gesture. but i do have one question. i know that it says to reverse the polarity on one of the subs if only one sub is inverted, the other being mounted normally inside of the box. however, im running 2 subs off of 2 amps, each sub with its own amp. do i still need to reverse the polarity on one of them? 1 sub will be in the box and the other will be inverted

same concept, even if you have another amp. Because if it was the same it will cancel out.

The point of reversing polarity is so that you do not have one cone moving out, while the other cone is moving in. Reversing polarity simply reverses which direction the cone 'starts' moving when the music starts.

ok, one more question. since I am a noob, i need extra clarification. in order to reverse the polarity on a 4ohm DVC sub to produce a 2ohm load, i need to wire it in parallel. since i am reversing it, do i connect the neg from the amp to the pos on the sub and vice versa? and then just connect the neg from the 1st coil to the neg on the 2nd coil and the pos from the 1st coil to the pos on the 2nd coil?

If you have multiple subs, or multiple coils wired in series or parallel, its generally easiest just to reverse the speaker wires at the amplifier. Make sure your amp, h/u or any pre-amp you may be running does not already have a phase shift adjustment option you could use.
