Inverted dust caps on dc subs

So I fired up my level 5's before with a buddy of mine dc 12k they where perfectly fine didn't smell them nothing but one of the dust caps fell of... So I was looking at the tfs style cones is there any negative of these inverted cones? And can I get them threw dc I don't want them saying tfs or be cheap soft parts

Get the carbon fiber dust cap.

A buddy of mine had those 2 and still fell also that's why I really wanna kno about this inverted cone stuff

When you put them on, you need to rough up the mounting surface. Then apply CA glue or another type of really strong glue.

It doesnt effect the performance to have inverted dustcaps, if thats what your asking.

the inverted caps can't handle the back pressure usually, that's why they fall off. I would look into just a normal dustcp with a ton of CA glue.
