I am on a wireless laptop. Compaq v6000, fairly new and in good working order. One day, my computer would not connect to my password protected wireless network. I enter the password etc, and it just says acquiring network address. Thats it, it will not connect. I can connect to other open (non-password) networks. I reset the router, and modem many times with no success. My roommate can connect just fine. I do not understand why this is happening.
