Intereting problem

Here's what I did: I removed the door panels and installed components in the front. I put everything back together.

The problem: The passengers side window won't go down. When the button is pressed from the driver's side, the lights dim and it puts a huge load on the alternator.

WTF?

i did that and i used screws that were too long so the window is stopped from rolling down removed it and used shorter screws= problem fixed
That's not my problem. The button is not working at all and when it's pressed, it drains the battery/alternator.

Something is shorting out. That short is what is causing a load on the alt. Check your connections to the window controls on the passenger side and make sure you didn't jam any connectors on incorrectly.

You're right in assuming it's not a window blocking problem. That won't cause excessive current draw but a short definitely will. Take that passenger door panel off and look for something wrong.
Will do boss. Thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
