Insufferable turn-off Pop

I'm really getting annoyed now.

1/0 welding wire running from battery to rear, both positive and negative, to Kicker distribution blocks. From there I have Kicker 4 gauge running to both my amps. My 4 channel is fine, my Opti2000D pops like a son of a ***** on shutdown.

It's clearly not a grounding issue, since my ground is the battery. Amp is run at 0.5 on 2 mag 15's.

Headunit is new, and not the issue since it also did it with my previous one.

Ideas?

it's called "amp turn on/ turn off pop"

usually is caused by the remote turn on wire from headunit not haveing enough or just enough to kick the amp on. you need to up the current by adding a relay behind the headunit.

basicly wire up the relay like this.

take remote blue w/ white from headunit wire it up to 85

then ground 86

take constant 12v wire it to 87

then hook up the remote turn on to the amp to 30.

that usually allways fixes amp turn on/ off pop
