Ok so here it goes. I drive a 1998 Merc Sable. I am building a sub from a RE MT motor with 15" basket. I also have a broken Orion HCCA 275G4 AMP (not sure where i could get someone to fix this old monster?). I have a stock alt and stock battery for the time being only reason is not sure when i am getting a new car. I will be running KnuKoncepts KLM 1/0 wiring with 100amp anl fuse to a d-block with voltage reading on it and then have KnuKoncepts 4 guage going to the amp. So what i am wanting to know is if this will all work out. I've read around and some people say that this type amp kills your electrical in you car but i am too much of a noob to know if i will have such problems, that is why i have coem to the smart people here to help me out.

Main question, any flaws in my wiring?

Side question, where should i take the 275G4 to get fixed?

Thanks in advance for the help/input!

I assume you're running another amp for the sub because that amp can't power a 15" and doesn't need more than 4g. 8g would be fine for it. It's only 150RMS x 2 @ 2 ohm.

Depending on the amps you are running, 100 amp fuse is low for 1/0.

They guy i got the amp off of said he was using it to run his 15" MT. Yea its going to be under powered but its a start and im not sure what other type of amp i should get for an MT. Also i know the fuse size is small, but its the one that came with the kit. I plan on buying something much higher.

I wouldn't even think it would be worth the cost to get it fixed. I assume the 15" is a DVC? 300RMS to a 15" is pathetic.

Yes it is a DVC and some say this amp can get around 1200watts plus its a very underrated amp so some people say. Dont take my word for it, im only a noob //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif.

I'd have to see it to believe it for 1200 from rated 300. That's drastically underrated if so //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
