Installing in a 2012 Impala with factory radio, came with a 2 line converter that is spliced into the drivers rear speaker. I figured I could just remove the 2 line converter and run the wire spliced into the speaker and run it to my bass processor's(Soundstream BX-20Z) high inputs, correct?

Then from there I can run RCAs to my amp and then RCAs to my subs?

If so, will I just spliced into the passenger's rear speaker as well so L and R are wired and then a ground wire to the chasis? I read some article about using only 1 wire and using both the positive and negative on just the GND so kinda just confused at this point as to what should be connected where for the high inputs on my bass processor.
