toyota coupe came in the guy claims to be a ex installer in his younger days

power wires screwed/bolted to the positive battery terminal....NOPE layed the ring termnal on it just taped it on the terminal?

power wire ran under the transmission

Hole drilled in the driver floor ro route the power wire threw??

amp is just laying on the driver side floor not even bolted down or anything with the door speaker beside it......ill repeart that " the door speaker'

i guess the speakers jumped out the door

u know the headunit was gonna be a mess

rear deck was cut and 6x9's just dropped in

wow thats pretty bad who in the hell would drill a hole in the floor to run a power wire? i have to admit before i new much about audio installs my old truck was a rats nest of wires but i learned off of that truck and now i for the most part know what im doing (exception with cross overs)

Had Another one come see me today. This one was done by a "BIG" local car audio shop, im not name dropping. The customer had a deck installing in there 2004 Toyota Solara with the Factory 7 speaker JBL system. Easy install if you just use the Correctly JBL Toyota integration harness right? WRONG. The cut up the harness and ran speaker wire to the 6 speakers in the car all being 2ohm speakers and connected them directly to the Sony deck 4 speakers on the front channels and 2 off the rear channels. The customer wondered why the radio kept cutting off and they would smell something burning... So i had to rewire the fact take the Sony out and re-install the factory deck, FUN FUN FUN.....

The broke the factory cap so they got another one and used butt connector to try to fix it

After i fixed and soldered a new cap on to the factory harness
