I have a 97' Camry with only 4 speakers. I went junk-yard shopping yesterday and pulled 2 tweeters from a lexus ES300 and installed them in my car for $5. They sound great. Except the fact that they are just too loud (in comparison to the other speakers). I have them spliced in with my two front speakers. I assume a resister or some type will help quiet them down? If so, how large of one should I get / what type?
I know I should have a cross-over of some type, but I just don't have the cash at the moment to start messing around with that, so if anyone has an idea about the resister. Trying to make it 1/2 as loud (50% power)
