I am POSITIVE 99% of people out there, who spend close to $300 on a sub, will get it and give a positive review. It is VERY rare that someone will say something bad, unless the product is just awful. And I am sure that isn't the case on any of the products talked about.

Well he is getting a mag, so that is why 04redmach1 said that. So money isn't an issue for him.
And there are plenty of people out there that can afford either the Q series or a mag. And it will just be good to see if the mag will perform better, for people who have money to spend on either. Because a lot of people don't care too much about price, and just want a sub that will perfrom real well.

It would be like me taking my 703's and putting them up against some 800D's. $3000 vs $12000; obviously the $12000 speaker system is going to be much better. By no means am I saying there is anything wrong with the mags or that they stupidly priced. But that you are comparing wal-mart supercenter apples to fresh off the tree organic ones. Not exactly the same thing.

The big question that is close to being answered is : Is the Q a 'budget' mag.

I think we need to wait for a few more installs to know for sure.

The price isn't as big of a deal as the VC config. I am iffy on running my brand new amp at .5.

I'm not talking about more as in... inside secretive stuff or anything... I'm saying I could say more as an individual.

I will on one hand say, to this date... the SI D2 is still my favorite all around driver.
