And I wouldn't consider a mag 12 a low end monster. The 15 will get a lot lower than the 12.

I was using a mag 12 in my HT back in the day. And for HT use, you usually want a sub that can hit REALLY low. Much lower than you need for car subwoofer. And he was just saying the mag 15 would be better suited since I could tune it lower and it would do a better job in that range.

you know the problem may just be under powering them they are rated at 1000 watts 600 may not be enough..now i know 400 watts may not sound like alot but its like giving a 15'' type R only 600 watts or a 15'' kicker l7 only 600 watts if you got confidence in the box then try a stronger amp...

My Type R 15 got very low off 600 watts and 500 and 400. L7's sound good off 600 also. I don't think the power is the problem. I'll have a Q in a few weeks to play with and I have plenty of power to feed it.

all we can do is wait and see i guess..im still sticking to my 3 18's of the Q line for now..they may not hit has low has MT OR W7 but hell for $309 for an 18 you cant really complain too much..

so your going from 2 jenson 10's on 200w to 3 18's on 3000watts. Thats odd
