Install Problem. Help ASAP please

Here is what happened:

Today I install new HU and amps. Turn it on, everything is fine. I get ready to leave, and I notice that one of the power wires has come loose from the distro block. I accidentally bumped it onto a metal part of the distro and it sparks. "Dammit you're an idiot" was the first thing that came to mind. So I go d/c the battery, and put that sucker back in. Now I have alt whine.

I also have an 880PRS, so I think it might be the stupid fuse thats .5 amps that I hear about. Can someone give me a diagnosis?
