Install kinetik batt?

I just picked up an hc800 and I wanted know if installing it now on my stock alternator and duracrap gold battery, if it might cause some kind of problem like killing the alt or conflict between the batts? Any ideas?

you should be fine as long as your main battery is still good. If one battery is weak, itll draw from the other for balance causing the new one to go bad sooner.

I just purchased the duralast less than a month ago and I am going to put at least 2 gauge ground up front so I don't have to run a negative. Thanks for your response btw.

I'm planning on getting a Duralast yellow top battery in the near future. Was interested in an optima but there wasn't one compatible with my car I don't think. I also plan on getting a kinetik battery, probably the 600 version.

Have you hooked yours up then?
