For the AM reception you need the MET 40VW53, it's an amplified antenna, just need to hook up a constant IIRC (haven't used one in a while).

Find your amplifier and bypass it- probably the only way you'll get those rear speakers to work.

If you want to use the rear amp, you'll need to find the right input wires for the amp; they don't always use the "rear speaker" outputs in the harness. Check the label on the top of the old head unit; it may give you a clue. I've had good luck in the past wiring RCAs into the rear amp input wires and plugging them into the new head unit's pre-outs. But you're probably better off just bypassing the amp, if the speakers are 4 ohms.

yeah i hope you have 4 ohm speakers sometimes they get funny when they are amped
