A buddy of mine is putting a system in his car with his factory radio.He is gonna use a rca converter to splice into his rear speakers for rca signal. His question is where can he run his remote wire? I have never ran a remote with a factory radio.

you could tap into a fuse in the fuse box that is ignition switched. or if he has a power antenna, your could tap into the main power to that, which is switched. you could run a wire from the battery to a switch then to the amp, so you could switch it on and off. many options
