Install for 2000 Jaguar XJR

Ok, so I am looking to help my pops put a system in his Jaguar. I have never worked on one before and I actually havent even seen or heard the system yet... Its a 2000 XJR!

But he knows I am big into car audio, and wants to do a small, clean, SQ type set up in it.

My main question is what is the easiest route to go if anyone has installed something in these year of Jaguars.

Would it be best to bypass everything and start over? Or integrate something? Double Din or singe? Im thinking just a descent Double din, nice 2 way SQ front stage, and a single 12 with some rear fill...

Since it's a fairly big luxury car, he will probably want a larger sub than you might be planning for a build like this. I had a cadillac eldorado and I wasn't happy with anything less than a 10 ported in mine. I still pushed it pretty hard on daily listening for rap, it's hard to get bass into the cabins sometimes.. I'd do a single 12 sealed, I'm sure he has a decent amount of trunks space. Even for pure SQ, it's better to not have to push the sub at all and a 12 will do that for him.
