I know this thread is pretty old but just in case others are searching... this is NOT good wire, I searched and found pictures of the wire next to the terminals for that size wire ("4awg" wire next to a 4awg terminal, "1/0" next to a 1/0 terminal) and ti was HORRIBLE!

Looks like you could fit the entire cable (jacket and all) inside the terminal... the 4awg barely looked like 8awg to me...

The 8 gauge stuff is good I use it for my subs wiring to the amps........
