Install 6x9s in 6x8 doors

Is it possible to do without an adapter? I cant seem to find a 6x8 TO 6x9, only "6x8" to 6.5 and etc...

I can score really loud 6x9s for cheap and id like to use that.

And dont tell me to build my own, for the safety of the general public i am not allowed to operate power tools

your going to have to cut your stock factory locations or have a really thick bracket, and with a really thick bracket you run the risk of the speaker hitting what ever panel covers it. I would just go with 6.5's
