$240 - $300 Seems pretty fair for what i want done, however they said it will only take 4 hours, so @$50 an hour then if i member math, thats $200 ... the 5-6 bills shit is whats over the top ...

Ya I charge around 350 for all that to be installed. But of cores I install it the right way. LOL

~250-350 would be a good average for most shops i would think for that work, 580 is pretty expensive but im not looking at what you have

still, quality matters. I'd easily see $500-600 for a an install where wires are well-hidden and components are in custom locations where stuff had to be cut out and stuff.

Agreed, quality does matter, and the two shops that were in the 5-6 hun range are fairly decent shops. I still think for a 4 hour job and IF you know what you are doing then 3-4 hun is fair ..

4 hours seems a little too quick for all of that... I'd pay a little more to know they aren't rushing..

thats not too bad...local shop here quoted me at $350+ for a 8 cube ported box.

Well that's the price you pay. 500 maybe high, but if you never had a problem with it, ever. Then you'll say it'll be worth. However you try talking prices. the art of conversation can save you plenty.

I think i got some pretty decent stuff too, and it was pretty funny that the shops didn't seem to like the stuff i had, and wanted to bag on it and say there stuff was better ...

Its ALL about the SALES ...
