Insignia VS Vizio

Well this coming christmas I will be in the market to buy a 37-42 inch lcd tv. About 2 years ago I bought a Dynex tv on black friday. Brought it home hooked it up to a BR player looked amazing. Well funds were short so the tv went back. This time I have the budget for it. So I keep seeing commercials for vizio and how they are the best and bla bla bla. So which one should I choose? Will be used for 80% movies and 20% tv watching via antenna. Also looking at dynex which is sort of the same as insignia only I have head insignia is a bit better.

if you're purely asking about build quality/reliability, i can vouch for vizio... have had 3 of them, 2 lcd for least 2 years and 1 plasma since last christmas and no problems...

Vizio>LG
Its unfortunate that you and the rest of this thread are that uninformed. LG, Samsung, and Sony make the top 3 TVs on the market right now. They also had the top 3 on the market a year or 2 ago. Vizio isnt even close in quality or customer service as any of those 3 major companies.

top 3 tv manu. available are sony, samsung, and mitsubishi...oh and panasonic is up there wit them...toshiba is a great budget tv...and rite below it falls lg...vizio and insignia are b panel tvs...warranty isnt all too great...if ur on a budget look into toshiba and dont wrry abt extended warranties...typical probs happen in the first year..most problems after that i have seen to be accidental damage rather than manufacturer damage

I'd say Insignia as i have the 37" LCD and its great video quality, I have seen some Vizio and they dont see to have as good a quality but i would suggest going and looking at each one you like then write down the model number then order online.
