Insignia VS Vizio

Mitsubishi hasnt made a decent TV in years.
You dont have a clue what you are talking about. LG's have a KNOWN motherboard problem causing little red dots to appear all over the panel (plasma's), And NUMEROUS other problems. I can link you to pages of people complaining about this. Oddly the vizeo plasmas that used the lg glass feature the same problem. It is rumored that some of the newer vizeo plasma's used NOS pioneer glass, and if that is true that would be a steal of a tv!. Mitsubishi makes some of (if not THE) best dlp tv's, especially with the new laser engine. Samsungs/sony/toshiba/panasonic are the way to go with plasma/lcd ( i have seen recently closeout 50" 1080 pani plasma's for under 1k!). personally I would save up and buy one of those.. But please, do not listen to white dragon he has NO IDEA what he is talking about. (likely an lg owner trying to defend his purchase.) Also- lets not confuse best SELLING with best performing. LG sells well as it is well.. cheap.

Why would I pay that much for outdated DLP? I wouldnt. Thats just stupid to pay over priced for outdated technology. You open that TV up to replace the bulb there goes your warranty. Get it in to get the bulb replaced and your talking more than $150. Its a waste of time and Mitsubishi only makes nice home appliances and cars. TVs is not their hot spot.
again misinformed. DLP when properly calibrated (as ANY TV should be) had the best on axis picture. Now off axis they still (sadly) feature fade out (as lcd's do off axis, although lcd's have REALLY stepped up in this respect) It is NOT any more than 150 to replace a bulb, and I have service reciepts for our bedroom tv to prove this. Now do you have facts to back up ANYTHING you say, or would you like to continue spouting blind, misinformed, and downright WRONG "info"?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

I have a 60" Mitisubishi and when friends come over they ask me how I made the picture so clear and bright compared to their tvs at home

Im pretty sure most Dynex tvs are just rebadged LG tvs or so they were a few years ago.

Id rather have a Vizio, they look really good and I was impressed,

my inlaws have two and they look great outa the box, even better when you set them up properly

they always get the best budget awards from reviewers

I have a Vizio 32" in my bedroom and a Samsung 40" in the living room... the Vizio's picture doesn't even compare to the Samsung, but it's a GREAT budget TV, considering the Samsung ran about triple the cost. I'd go for Vizio.

Also, something to note, the Vizio is considerably older (coming up on two years...), so there is the real possibility that they have done a fair amount of catching up since then.

I just love my ToC Samsung //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
