phoenix gold xennon 600. i adjusted the input voltage dial on the amp and it seems to me like the lower freqencies 40 n down are reduced by a db or 2??? in fact sq over all is less smooth? sub output voltage from headunit is 2 v,set amp input at 2 v and its less likeable to me than when set at .2 v? obviosly ill play with the setting over the next........10 years!!!!!!!!!! but i was curious if anyone has any experience with this phenomana?

First of all, welcome to the board.

Second of all, the input voltage has absolutely no effect whatsoever on the SQ, other than the fact that higher voltages might reduce noise problems if you have a noise problem.

Adjust your input voltage with a DMM, and that will be the proper setting for it.
