Initial setup?? any help appreciated

Hi i have a 1999 seat cordoba (I live in spain) and i want to upgrade my sound system (basically coz i love loud music) problem is i have no idea what to buy nor how to go about doing it. I'm not exactly looking for the best loudest setup, I'd like a normal decent range of equipment (but still with a good bit of umph in it)could anyone please recomend some makes and equipment for me?? I'm in dire need. I currently have a sony cdsx-GT33U Xplod head unit and 2 pretty crappy 170w max pioneer speeker which are not pretty messed up as they cant handle the volume nor bass. Any recomendation would be great. thanx
