inhuman 15 help

Hello, well it turned out I bought a car (92 grand prix gt). Its nothing special but will get the job done. I also bought an inhuman 15 and a modded mmats d300hc. Now comes the next step which is the box. I am looking for a good mix of spl/sq roughly 60/40 and I would rather not use up my whole trunk. What enclosure size would you recommend and tuning freq? Thanks in advance!

specifics on the inhuman..

dual or quad?

copper or aluminum coil?

any way you go.. its gonna need a big box..

and depending on the coils.. you may have an issue with that amp..

Thanks for the responces. I wish I could give 6-7 but thats my whole trunk I can give at most 5.3, as to the modded amp why would you not run it at 1 ohm daily? I've heard good things about mmats amps but if you wouldn't recommend it I will run it at 4 ohms then. Only feeding a fraction of the power to that sub is gonna be completely useless but hey why not. What would you suggest instead? I have already bought the amp so maybe I can trade it up for something that will run at one ohm daily.

Another queation. How about going sealed? This isn't going to be for massive comps and such. Might go to a few locals but nothing big. At 4 ohms that amp supposedly puts out somewhere near 600. If thats true or not I don't know, but I am going to guess that your going to say thats just a waste on an inhuman.

BTW... because the amp is modded is that why you woudln't recommend running it at 1 ohm? What did that mod do that was so bad for that amp? Usually when you think of modding something it upgrading but did they downgrade it or what?

when that amp is modified.. they completely remove all traces of the protection system.. that amp was never designed to run at 1 ohm.. the d300hc is a 2 ohm only amp.. it will burn up if you run it for long periods at 1 ohm for daily use.. its a competition 1 ohm amp only..

that Inhuman is horrible in a sealed box.... it will not perform well at all..

k, so I wire all the coils in series to get 4 ohms and run minimal power to it? Will that still be enough to even make it move or should I even bother?
