I think the Florida heat got to me today, I pulled the trigger on a VVX-12 dual 4 tonight. Now I am thinking about a box for it. I'm thinking I want to go ported this time and I think it might be beyond my capabilites to build it. I've had Buck design a few boxes for me, 1 sealed and 1 ported but it was a very simple design, a smallish box with a slot port, no 45's no kerfs or bends or anything like that.
This one I believe may be a bit more complicated. I have no idea of size, tuning, port area, port speed or any of that info other than what the manufacturer recommends. I only know that it is going in my trunk, and I know about how much space I can give up for the box. What should I expect to pay for someone to build a nice box? Should I get Buck to design it and just have them build it? And is there anybody within a reasonable drive from New Port Richey, FL (north or clearwater, NNW of Tampa) that could do this for a reasonable price.
