i see infinity has a selectable impedence on there new subwoofers . how does this possibly work?

not new. simply works by switching from parallel to series. hence the single terminal

Not really more options, just makes the wiring easier...a dvc is a dvc, this just has one terminal with a switch on it instead of two terminals with jumper wires.

How can you get 2 and 4 ohms from the same coil though? D2 would be 1 or 4, D1 would be 0.5 or 2, are they using some weird like 3 ohm coil similar to JL ? Still wouldn't be 2 and 4, I'm a bit confused //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
