Infinity or Polk Audio

I have install alpine sps-170a recently, but they hanlde 40 WRMS and i want some coax speakers that can handle a little bit more, i found this:

Inifinity 6012i:

4-Ohm impedance

Power Handling, RMS: 60 Watts

or

Polk Audio db650

Impedance: 4 ohms

RMS Power (continuous): 60 Watts

I can get then at same price, what do you recommend me, stay with alpine or upgrade to one of this or what other spekaers u subjest me, budget $80

i have had a bunch of polk speakers and ive always loved them.

Polk audio is great for home audio, Inifinity is better for car audio.

I have db 650's in the rear of miy wifes Element, and think they are a good coax. They have better midbass than the Infinity's (punchier) but the Infinity's have a bit more clarity. The Element also has db6500 comps in the front, also a good speaker set for the $$$. All of those listed have very bright tweeters that can saw your ear off if played too loud.

Polk audio is great for home audio, Inifinity is better for car audio.

Polk makes great everything. Big Polk fan here. I have the LSI system in my house etc. then the Polk Momo's in my car. Amazing speakers always out prove themselves! I can't wait to get my hands on the new RS series!

i had polk coaxials, the carbon fiber ones, and have heard the infinity

polk, more midbass, more punch

infinity, more treble...i foudn it to be too harsh
