Which would you use?......They are: Dayton RS180-8ohms(debucked),ID CSX64 & the Silver Flute W17RC38-4ohms
I think they're like $40 shipped from madisound. Those Silver Flutes look amazing! Their frequency response is awesome too. I wish I had extra money to blow on a pair.
More like $50, but I just blew over $100 on the Daytons, tweeters, and a lot of inductors and capacitors and Aura bass shakers...I don't think that a pair of Silver Flutes is in my budget.I think they're like $40 shipped from madisound.
Where are you measuring?strong*I*bumpin, Can you do me a huge favor and measure the Daytons for me?
I just picked up a set of 6.5" Tang Band w6 woofers and they measure at 7". My 8" Dayton References measure at barely under 9". wtf?
All my car audio speakers, like my 6.5" CDT EF woofer measure at exactly 6.5". Same with my OZs.
That's a shame to hear. I was gonna get some Dayton 6" RSs to match my Dayton RS tweeters. Seems like a lot of people are going this route lately.I have Dayton 6 inch Rs's And i was thinking about switching to Cx62's. right now the Daytons are only getting 50 or so watts. I fiqured switching to cx62's ill get alittle more cone area and they could get up to 200 watts. It would be matched up with a Dayton Rs tweeter and kicker 800.4. i like the daytons but they just dont keep up with the sub and the highs as far as Loudness goes.
