Infinity or Alpine???

Both excellent speakers but I would prolly would go with the Kappas. The bass from the kappas is alot more crisp and powerful and you don't have to amp them and Infinity's tweeters are always of good quality.

Try find a deal on some JL audio 7.7 inch marine speakers. I will guarantee they will hit harder and sound twice as clean as any 6x9 that costs as much.

i've owned both amped, un amped in everyway shape and form. It really depends on what your application is. If you plan on adding a 4 channel amp. either type r's or infinity's will both sound great. if you just use your h/u's amp stay away from type r's been there and they sound like crap without an external amp. the infinty's on the other hand will still sound great.

Focals on an amp hands down. Heard them at a shop and was blown away. Sounds like a 10 in the trunk.

yes focals would be awesome. haha. but if he's deciding between alpine and infinty i'm sure the focals are deff way out of his price range.
